Do you want to lose weight, get in shape and have a blast doing it? Cycling is awesome for getting your heart/cardio conditioning in shape, it’s low impact on your joints, you can continue to do it as you age, and you’ll live longer! Ask your doctor, I’m sure they’ll encourage you to get on a bike.
Do you think bicycles have become complicated and expensive? There are more options now than there have ever been and it can definitely be confusing. You may also be floored by how much you can spend on a bike. My plan is to educate you on the options so you can make intelligent choices that work for your budget.
I love cycling and like any other activity there’s a learning curve and the skills and techniques aren’t always obvious. On this site I’ll provide you with tips and tricks that will shorten your learning curve and have you riding faster, stronger and with better handling skills. You’ll learn about nutrition, tools, gear, fitness, bike repair and fun places to ride. Hopefully you’ll be inspired to join the cycling tribe, share your experiences, motivate others and make some new friend along the way.
