This is the second day of the ride from Connellsville, PA to Rockwood, PA passing through the white water rafting town of Ohiopyle where we stopped and toured the Fallingwater House built by Frank Llyod Wright (included in video). Outside of Connellsville was a wooden bridge that made you feel just like you were riding a roller coaster on a bicycle. The weather was excellent and we didn’t know what was in store for us the next day when we’d be riding in the rain, crossing the Eastern Conntinetial Divide and riding through the mile long Big Savage tunnel. The maintenance, grading and signage on the Great Allengheny passage are excellent. In the videos we are traveling around 15mph so what you see is what we saw. The video has not been speeded up. We spent the night at the Hostel on Main in Rockwood, PA. It was clean, the owners were friendly, it had everything we needed and at $22 per night was hard to beat. Hostel on Main. Enjoy and be slef propelled!
